Introduction :

The internationally renowned beach resort has been a favorite haunt of tourists since 1930's. Kovalam consists of 3 adjacent crescent beaches. The southernmost, known as the Lighthouse Beach, is the most popular. Kovalam is much sought after for sun-bathing, water sports, shopping, catamaran cruising, yoga, meditation and rejuvenative ayruvedic body toning massages

History :

Kovalam is already a world famous destination. It is not surprising that it is becoming a regular haunt for sun and sea worshipers and honeymooners too. Kovalam, a favourite haunt of beach tourists since the 1930s, is the most celebrated of those tranquil palm fringed beaches. 16 kms south of Thiruvananthapuram the State Capital, it consists of three precise crescents of irresistible white sandy beaches. Quite secluded and bordered by a luxuriant belt of hammock strung palms of guaranteed to wipe the cares of the world away.

By Air :
